As an actor when you do different medium you are able to polish your craft: Shriya Pilgaonkar

Young and talented Shriya Pilgaonkar, who was recently seen in Voot Select original The Gone Game, is yet again entertaining audiences in Voot Select’s latest offering Crackdown.

The story revolves around a covert operations wing that tries to crack through multiple smaller decoys to uncover a larger conspiracy that threatens national security. In the process, they find an able ally in a girl whose identity remains a mystery.

Talking about her versatile character in Crackdown, Shriya says, “For me, the aim has always been to be versatile with my roles and trying something new. I feel as an actor when you do different mediums you are able to polish your craft. I always want to do a balance of both, films and series.”

Shriya believes in exploring different genres. “I love action as a genre and I always wanted to explore it as an actor. I was very excited when Crackdown came my way. I initially felt underprepared as I had great co-stars on board who have done action and this kind of genre. I was worried whether I could pull it off. However, all the credit goes to Apoorva sir and Javed sir, who was our action director for being patient with me. I also enjoyed punching people (laughs). I am sure audiences will be excited to see me in a new avatar.”

Good luck Shriya!
