Born on 12th June 1981, Adriana Lima is a Brazilian model and actor, most popular as a Victoria’s Secret Angel from 1999 to 2018. Lima was named “the most significant Victoria’s Secret Angel” as she was the longest-running model in 2017. She is otherwise called a spokesmodel for Maybelline makeup since 2003, and her Super Bowl and Kia Motors advertisements. At the age of 15, Lima participated in Ford’s “Supermodel of Brazil” competition and emerged as a winner, and the next year she went on to participate in the Ford “Supermodel of the World”, where she stood in second place before signing with Elite Model Management in New York City. Presently, Lima is one of the ‘New Supers” ranked by models.com. Since 2014, Lima has been the world’s second most generously compensated model. In 2012, she came fourth on the Forbes top-procuring models list and acquired $7.3 million in one year.
Lima was a brand ambassador for the brand Desigual, a clothing brand in Barcelona, Spain, for the Beachwear collection of Italian brand Calzedonia, and was an ambassador for the clothing collection of Italian brand Sportmax. She is right now working as an ambassador for IWC, Puma, Maybelline, and Chopard.
