As an actor, my job is to give colour to what is written in the script: Sunny Hinduja

Sunny Hinduja talks about the acceptance that he got recently for his projects in a lively conversation with IWMBuzz.com.

Actor Sunny Hinduja has had a great ride in recent years with his work being recognized. Even though the pandemic brought with it immense sorrow and troubles in 2021, on the work front, Sunny had a few good projects getting released on the web platform. He was part of Chacha Vidhayak Hai Humare (Amazon Prime Video), Aspirants (TVF Play), The Family Man 2 (Amazon Prime Video) and Inside Edge 3 (Amazon Prime Video).

Says Sunny, “It has been great, other than the fact that the pandemic has been on. I am happy that my work has been recognized and appreciated. I cannot ask for anything else. In such a grave time, I had four projects for release in the year 2021. I feel blessed to have been busy. I want to congratulate the entire team of Aspirants. It has not only touched people’s hearts, but it has also inspired many. Aspirants was accepted so very well, and I am glad to be a small part of it. The Family Man 2 took to a newer level, Inside Edge 3 was great. I loved being a part of Chacha Vidhayak Hai Humare. What more can I ask for as a performer?”

“Sandeep Bhaiya of Aspirants has taught me to go behind the dreams. It has taught people family values. The Family Man 2 taught me to share things with close friends and not take sufferings sitting alone,” quips Sunny on the major takeaways from the roles.

On the expectations of a new season of a cult series, Sunny states, “I see the script, my character, the Director’s vision and try to align all of them. Film making is a collaborative process and it comes through the director’s vision. As an actor, my job is to give colour to what is written in the script.”

On the kind of roles that attract him, Sunny avers, “Whenever I read something and it touches my heart, then it is it. Also, the people making the script matter a lot. I believe in my instincts and I look for that vibe when I am choosing my work. After that, I like to go with the flow.”

Is there any dream role? “I love biopics. I am very athletic and sporty, so can wish for a role suiting it. I like the inspirational stories of people in sports.”

“I am doing a film with Rohit Dhawan. Two more projects are yet to be announced. I am looking forward to some good projects.”

All the best, Sunny!!
