Arshin Mehta, who was seen in movies like Circle (Telugu), Main Rajkapoor Ho Gaya, The Rally, Sallu Ki Shaadi, Catfight (a short film), and Prem Yuddh (Gujarati), and recently in The Diary of West Bengal actor, loves wearing loose, baggy clothes and claims that comfort takes over everything else for her when it comes to fashion.

Talking about her go-to outfit, she says, “My all-time go-to outfit would be a pair of blue jeans with a spaghetti top, paired with accessories. It’s a super simple, easy, and comfortable look. Whenever I am unsure about what to wear, I just throw on my blue jeans and either a white or black spaghetti top, and I am ready to go.”

Her favourite fashion trend is, “Baggy jeans and oversized shirts. I am so happy they are in fashion now because I love wearing loose and comfortable clothes. These are so much better than tight-fitting jeans or skinny pants.”

In fact, she is such a big fan of loose clothes, that she even borrows her father’s and her brother’s clothes. “The moment I get home and I know I don’t have anything else to do, I change into my most comfortable clothes—usually pajamas or shorts. If you were to look inside my wardrobe, you would mostly find loose trousers, baggy pants, and oversized shirts. I also love wearing my dad’s and brother’s clothes because they are extra-large and super comfortable,” she avers.

And she doesn’t believe in changing her wardrobe often. Talking about it she explains, “I am emotionally attached to my clothes. Many of my clothes come from my mom, aunt, and grandmother, and they hold special memories for me. I also believe in being environmentally friendly, so I make an effort to reuse and repeat my clothes. I don’t like throwing away clothes unnecessarily, and I try to have a minimalistic approach to shopping.”

Arshin also mentions that there isn’t anyone in particular who has inspired her fashion sense. She says, “It’s more about finding something I like when I go shopping. If I see a fashionable dress or accessory that I feel suits me, I buy it. But it’s always about what I feel comfortable in, more than following a particular trend.”
