The much-awaited Sacred Games 2 is expected to unravel a series of twists and turns, from the real mastermind behind the entire game, new players, to Ganesh Gaitonde’s motives. The second part of the series will pick up from the nail-biting climax of Season 1 as Sartaj Singh will continue to make efforts to save Mumbai from an impending disaster.
Nawazuddin, who essays the role of crime lord Ganesh Gaitonde in the Netflix series, is seen looking smart in a dark check suit with a red tie, as he looks right into the lens of the camera with intensity. One can also see mandala design in the backdrop.
Saif Ali Khan who plays Sartaj Singh embarks on a journey of self-discovery, struggles to solve the mystery of Gaitonde’s third father, and attempts to salvage his failed marriage, all while trying to save Mumbai from a massacre.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be back as Ganesh Gaitonde who would set up a new cartel far away from his land who in order to re-establish his power and position as the king.
In the first season, Gaitonde was mostly seen in kurta-pyjamas or shirt and pant. The new image hints at his rise in the second season as the show follow his story after his death in the first episode of the first season.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s acting was greatly appreciated in season1 and the audience is looking forward to season 2 especially for Ganesh Gaitonde. He is a very versatile actor and suits himself according to his roles very well.
