Gaurav who has effortlessly carried out a negative persona character in Diya Aur Baait Hum has the knack of making people laugh with his amazing comic timing in shows Total Nadaniyaan. He played a rough and tough cop in Roop Mard Ka Naya Swaroop.

On the digital platform, Gaurav’s debut work was ZEE5’s Poison where he played a very different avatar. And now he is seen in the recently streamed series on ZEE5, Bombers.

Says Gaurav, “’I did my first web series Poison on ZEE5 in April this year with a very powerful cast such as Arbaaz Khan, Freddy Daruwala, Riya Sen, Tanuj Virwani. I have never repeated myself as an actor. I always love to play different kind and range of roles. In Poison, I played a character that is completely different from what I am in real life. Pawan Singh in Poison was a gay gangster who turns out to be the real culprit.”

“After Poison did well, I was selected for another web-series on ZEE5 titled Bombers. This character is again completely different from my last one. Atul in Bombers is the character of a football player who is very good at his craft, and a guy who has severe anger issues,” he adds.

Gaurav used to play football at school, so playing the game was not totally new to him. “The challenge though was to get back to the game after many years. I went through vigorous training sessions to get the act of the game right.”

Gaurav even got hurt in his leg during the shoot of Bombers. “As a result of the injury to my leg, I could not walk properly for a week or so. After the end of the shoot of Bombers, I in fact had to meet and consult a physiotherapist for treatment on my leg. I have this happy feeling within me that Bombers has been one of the most challenging projects of my life. I am glad that I could pull it off.”

Best of luck for your next Gaurav!!
