Vineet Kumar made a prolific start to his career with critically acclaimed performances in movies like Bombay Talkies and Gangs of Wasseypur. But without any iota of doubt, his biggest break came in the form of Anurag Kashyap’s Mukkabaaz that earned him loads of love and accolades across all sectors. He was last seen in Amazon Prime’s latest offering Betaal and people have certainly loved his role and performance in it.
But all these accolades haven’t come overnight and the entire journey hasn’t been easy at all. The entertainment industry is a hard nut to crack, especially for outsiders who have to constantly push time and again to make a mark. It is no different for Vineet. So, when we asked him to open up more on his journey and struggle, he said and we quote,
“Well, it’s been a long one, to be honest. There have been times when my mental strength has been tested but touchwood I could be strong and I kept trying and trying. It took me a struggle of about 18 long years to be able to set a mark for myself and I am still trying to do my best as an artist. I have knocked many doors in this entire duration. While some have been absolutely intolerant, some did offer to help but eventually, things didn’t materialize for the longest time. I am happy people are liking my work and all the efforts are paying off right now. But I must tell one thing that no matter what, you simply cannot afford to give up on your dreams if you are very passionate about it. Patience is the key and you have to keep trying. ”
Kudos to Vineet for finally making the cut successfully after years and years of effort and hard work. Here’s wishing him all the best for everything that he does in the future. For more updates, stay tuned to IWMBuzz.com.
