Digital space provides a natural and more realistic space for an actor – Ayesha Raza Mishra

Actress Ayesha Raza Mishra talks about her new digital series on ZEE5.

Talented actress Ayesha Raza Mishra is looking forward to getting back to the digital platform with ZEE5’s web-series, Babbar Ka Tabbar, produced by Mango People Media.

The ZEE5 app which will launch in March will bring in a varied bouquet of shows that will satisfy the taste-buds of the digital viewers to a great extent.

Babbar Ka Tabbar is produced by Nehaa Anand and Victor Mukherjee.

Says Ayesha, “The digital space is a very interesting medium. When an actor aspires to work in a natural and more realistic space, away from TV, this medium provides that. There is scope for good performances and realistic acting in this medium.”

Ayesha who has acted in movies Toilet Ek Prem Katha, Dil Dhadakne Do, Happy Bhaag Jaayegi found great excitement to pair up with actor Manu Rishi Chadha in the series. “I have great admiration for him as an actor, and have followed his work. Working with him in the series was a motivating factor for me. We have a great tuning as a couple.”

The actress has earlier worked in the digital series Permanent Roommates feels that this is an exciting time for the medium. “I have earlier worked for the digital space. The series got well-received and got great reception. The space gives actors creative freedom.”

Talking about the ZEE5 app, the actress avers, “ZEE5 is providing great content and I am sure viewers will like the interesting bouquet of programs.”

Ayesha has recently signed up for a big banner film. Her movie ‘Sonu Ke Teetu Ki Sweety’ is all set for release on 23 February.
