Actress Ishani Sharma who has done shows like Ishqbaaaz, Sasural Simar Ka, Bepannaah, Main Bhi Ardhangini etc will be seen in the upcoming web series on EORTV titled Game of the Sexes. The series is predominantly focussed on LGBT community and the equality that they deserve in the society.
Says Ishani, “This is a fresh concept for India. Also, this is my debut project on the webspace and I am excited about it.”
The series is based on the mixed-gender cricket league where all genders play the game of cricket as a united team. The team also includes the third gender too.
Talking about her role, Ishani states, “I play the character of Johana. She’s a lesbian. Since I do not have any lesbian friends, I was initially apprehensive of getting the right hang of the character. But eventually, I understood that love is love, irrespective of the gender of the person. It was a challenging character for me.”
Ishani had a whale of a time shooting for the series. “I am looking forward to its launch that happens tomorrow (18 November). I am open to more work on the webspace.”
