Krutika Desai is undoubtedly one of the most well-known and versatile actresses of the Indian entertainment industry. Nobody can really forget her performance as Mangala in the super hit TV series Buniyaad. Apart from that, she’s also done a credible job in shows like Chandrakanta, Ram Milaayi Jodi, Uttaran and many more.
She’s currently back with a bang as she made her digital debut with the ALTBalaji and ZEE5’s latest offering Bebaakee. She essayed the role of Rashida Alqazi, mother of Kushal Tandon’s character, Sufiyaan
It must be noted that Krutika has been working in the industry for quite a long time and has seen times change. When asked about the criteria she has in her mind before finalizing on a project, she said and we quote,
“Well, to be honest, there’s a sense of instinct that works in script selection after working for a long time. Plus I am really glad to be part of a web series and the best thing is that in terms of budget as well, they are as good as TV and movies now. We have seen some wonderful storytelling in the recent past in OTT and I would say Bebaakee was a great way to mark my digital debut. I am certainly looking forward to do more.”
