Sunny Hinduja who plays the antagonist in MX Player series Bhaukaal, went through a lot of research to play the role of Farukh in the series.
Farukh is a very emotional and sensitive guy who is loyal towards Shaukeen, played by Abhimanyu Singh.
Says Sunny, “Farukh is a person who does not think of himself. He is a control freak and if things do not go as planned, he goes crazy. He is a cold-blooded person but when it comes to his loved ones, we get to see his sensitive side.”
Hinduja’s differentiated accent in the series is being loved by one and all. “I did my research to try and understand the city Muzaffarnagar, where the story is based. I saw films, read papers too. The Director Jatin Wagle, and Writer Jay Bansal helped me understand my character better. The idea of bringing up the local accent worked and thankfully, all the preparation has a good result.”
Sunny who played the intelligence officer in The Family Man will be seen in a completely different avatar in Bhaukaal. “As an artist, all kinds of characters are fun and challenging. The only thing common in both these characters is that they carry their hearts on the sleeves. While one lives for the country, the other is living for the honour. It was great to be challenged in both these roles.”
Best of luck, Sunny!!
