Vivek Madaan has grown wiser with age, and is seen impacting the web and big-screen projects in a big way!! Recently seen in the Kay Kay Menon starrer series Special OPS 1.5 on Hotstar, in a brief yet important role, Vivek looks forward to many more interesting outings with a few good projects under his sleeve.
Says Vivek, “I had a brief role in Special OPS 1.5. But strategically, it was an important one. I am happy to have been allowed to play this role by Neeraj Sir.”
Vivek will be next seen in the Netflix series Aranyak where he will play the husband of Raveena Tandon. “I am delighted that things are finally shaping up for me. The next one is Aranyak, where I play Raveena’s husband. That’s a big one for me.”
Vivek will also be seen in the Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh starrer film Runway 34. In addition to this, he will be seen in a web series called ‘Breaking’ and in Raj and DK’s web series titled Sunny.
“Fingers crossed for 2022, I have some amazing projects coming in. After being in the industry for 24 years, finally I have some quantum work happening for me. It is also a very organic process. With the kind of experience and maturity that an actor goes through with age, there are more diverse roles in the waiting. I don’t think I would have been chosen to play a role like Sankalp Chaudhary in Special OPS 1.5, seven years back. Things fell into place at the right time for me. After a certain age, one’s personality and look change. And with that, I guess, there is a wider scope for bagging diverse characters. If Neeraj Sir had seen me in Parrvarish, there is no way he would have cast me for this role (laughs),”
“It has been a slow and steady progress. Having said this, there is a journey for everyone. I am thankful that things are happening for me right now,” Vivek explains.
Talking about the upcoming series Aranyak, he states, “Aranyak is definitely a great role. There is a very interesting track with Raveena. When you will watch the series you will feel that I am the surprise element. You will see me in a dramatically opposite role in Aranyak when compared to Special OPS 1.5,” states the actor.
“We are in great times now. We also have the age of technology right now. The sensibilities of scripts have become really good; people have become very experimental right now.”
Best of luck, Vivek!!
