Young actor Nitin Bhatia is extremely happy and creatively satisfied after being part of the ALTBalaji series His Story.
His Story the now-streaming ALTBalaji series which deals with the sensitive tale of two men being in love, is being well-received by the masses. The series and the unique concept is touted to be a trend setter when it comes to complicated love stories, especially the ones catering around the same s*x love. The series is produced by Tanveer Bookwala’s Ding Infinity and is directed by Prashant Bhagia.
Nitin Bhatia who plays the role of Shivaay, the young spoilt-brat son of Kunal and Sakshi, has layers when it comes to his behavioral instinct and attitude.
Says Nitin, “It is always a great feeling to associate with concepts that are unique. It was a great experience. I have been working for television for a long time. To be part of such a game changer for the web platform was something big for me. It was amazing to be working with Prashant Sir (Bhagia – Director). Priyamani and Satyadeep are not only good actors, but great human beings. I got all the support from them throughout the shoot of the series. It was overall a great cast to work with.”
Talking about his character, Nitin states, “My character is all the more sophisticated in the series. Shivaay is a spoilt brat. I am a party freak guy. My character has a hatred for men getting attracted towards men. Ultimately, when I get to know that my father is a faggot, I go through an emotional breakdown.”
“I have never played such a character onscreen. So it was a challenge overall to play a character which you never relate to in real life,” states, Nitin.
Nitin was earlier seen in the ZEE5 film Section 375. And post this experience, Nitin will love to be part of the web platform and play many more interesting characters which will force him to move out of his comfort zone.
