Haq Se is a modern tale for every age group: Parul Gulati

Pretty actress Parul Gulati, who rose to fame with Star Plus’ P.O.W. – Bandi Yuddh Ke, will be soon enthralling audience as Jannat Mirza in highly anticipated digital show, Haq Se on ALTBalaji.

Directed by Ken Ghosh, ‘Haq Se’ is a captivating story about four sisters Meher, Jannat, Bano and Amal set in the backdrop of the beautiful valley of Kashmir. The show explores their ambitions and dreams and how they are bound by their geographical situation and the rising fundamentalism in the region.

Talking about her character, she says, “Jannat, is a fiercely opinionated feminist, who is not afraid to speak her mind. Known to her readers as Mirza, she is a journalist and blogger, who believes that her work can bring about a much-needed revolution in the valley of Kashmir.”

She adds, “I was part of P.O.W wherein I was playing a Kashmiri female so they called me for audition for this series. I was the first one to audition for Jannat and also got selected for it. I think after Rajeev, next I got locked for the series.”

When we ask about her shooting experience, she shares, “It was fun experience to shoot in Manali but little upsetting at the same time because I had to be away from my family. I really missed them. It was an amazing experience working with Surveen Chawla. I had most of the scenes with her. It was a super duper experience, shooting with such warm people. We have enjoyed each and every moment of our scenes.”

On an end note, she avers, “It is a different web-series. Now-a-days when you think about the digital platform people only showcase violence, s*x but Haq Se is a modern tale. It is for every age group.”

Good luck girl!
