Kim Kardashian, a long standing supporter of the “naked” dress style, has been donning one sheer gown after another recently. The KKW Beauty founder wore a different costume on Wednesday night, but it was still as bold as ever. Kardashian West dazzled in a classic black Versace gown at the star-studded amfAR gala in New York City, the unofficial kickoff of New York Fashion Week. The one-of-a-kind gown featured strong tapering shoulder straps and a plunging geometric neckline.
The reality TV actress, who owns an obscene amount of vintage designer clothing, kept the rest of her ensemble basic. She selected not to wear a necklace or bracelets and wore the gown with a pair of thin, clear strap heels. Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian’s sister, also attended the event in a vintage Versace gown. While both gowns had identical straps, Kardashian’s dress had a higher inverted sweetheart neckline and a thigh-high slit.
Kim Kardashian is accessorized with Lorraine Schwartz’s emerald ring and a pair of black pointy-toe heels. Kardashian chose a black dress with tiny halter straps, while Kim Kardashian wore a glossy black gown with a lace-up top.
