Swati Semwal the young and talented actor who was seen in the recently launched web series Akkad Bakkad Rafu Chakkar, is happy and elated with her film Demons bagging an official selection to be premiered at New York Indian Film Festival. The film is made by Rohit Mittal.
Swati who impressed one and all in the film Bareilly Ki Barfi, says, “I am extremely happy that this film happened to me at such an initial phase of my career. I was fortunate enough to carry this film on my shoulders along with my co-actor Vinay Sharma, who is a great performer and is an FTI pass out. I am thrilled that the film will be premiered at the New York Indian Film Festival. This is a big achievement considering that this is an intense unconventional, complex and bold film.”
Swati who is extremely good-looking is also proud of this opportunity giving her the platform to go de-glam on screen. “I have intentionally kept my vanity aside, I have not put up any make-up, and have tried to keep the character as close to reality as possible. So I am excited to see how my look and performance in this film are perceived by people.”
Speaking of her mood as of now, she states, “I am certainly nervous as this is a role that I have never explored before. I am waiting for feedback.”
