Actor Aniruddh Roy who is presently seen in the Sony SAB show Wagle Ki Duniya, will soon be seen in the Hari Om series upcoming project Buddh Dev. The actor had auditioned for the characters of Pawan and Varun Dev and got the opportunity to portray Varun Dev’s role.
Initially, the production house wanted him to block 6-7 days at a stretch which later got extended to 10 days. However, after shooting for only four days, there was a halt in proceedings. Later, when the dates were given for shoot, Aniruddh (who had informed the team prior) had to shoot for Wagle Ki Duniya and other projects, which included one abroad too.
Talking about this situation, Aniruddh talked to IWMBuzz.com saying, “When I was shooting abroad, I suddenly got a call from Buddh Dev team. They asked me to postpone my current commitments and come over and shoot the remaining portions of Buddh Dev immediately which was absolutely bizarre.”
“I was told that I have to adjust my dates as per Samarth Jurel who was playing the lead of the show Buddh Dev. Firstly I really had no idea who’s he, and why should I adjust as per his availability,” he added.
Aniruddh addressed the rumours related to the issue stating, “A rumour started propagating that I am focusing on other show shoots, which is not true. I spoke to the creative director Priyagini ji who was extremely sweet and supportive and the main producer of Nadiadwala Flix Abhishek ji, who was very cooperative and supportive. We mutually discussed, clarified and sorted in a very amicable manner, eventually the rumours circulating were put to rest. The shooting was concluded while keeping my dates and availability in consideration. I am now being approached for another OTT show on Hari OM platform.”
