Shaheer Sheikh, the young and talented heartthrob of the TV industry, is all set to charm the OTT audiences with the upcoming short film ‘Yatri Kripaya Dhyaan De’ on Amazon miniTV. It is a story of Sumit (Shaheer Sheikh), a charming man in his 30’s, who is driving home in his new car. On his way, he meets Nandita (Shweta Basu Prasad), a hitchhiker. Replete with twists and turns, what unfolds is a series of nail-biting events that will surely keep you gripped.

Talking about his new short film Yatri Kripaya Dhyaan De, he said, “Shooting for a short film was different. Having said that, I also felt as if I was shooting a music video because we wrapped up the shoot within 2-3 days. It was indeed a great experience. The challenging part was that I had to drive and deliver my dialogues. At the same time, I had to look at Shweta while talking in the scenes. It was difficult but I had an amazing time shooting for the same. I am playing a grey character so that was a different experience too. I am sure fans will also love this short film.”

When asked if he has ever experienced anything spooky while traveling, he added, “I have never had any spooky experience during my journeys. In fact, I have met some great people with whom I have bonded well. They have always been amazing experiences.”

The Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi actor shared an incident when he actually got scared in the film. He mentioned, “I remember one incident when we reached the turning point of the film. We show my character being scared of Shweta’s role. I already knew the scene. However, when Shweta enacted that scene I was blown away. In fact, I actually got really scared. Eventually, when I saw as an audience, I again got scared. That is the USP of the film, I believe.”

On an endnote, Shaheer revealed his happy moments with his newborn daughter. “I feel really bad when I go for outdoor shoots, as I don’t get enough time to spend with my daughter. Having said that, I always try to spend most of my time with my daughter when I am in the city. At this age, kids do a lot of things, they crawl, walk, begin to talk. I am missing these moments. In life, I thought I have experienced everything. But when I took my daughter in arms that feeling was surreal,” ended the actor.

Good luck Shaheer!
