Actor Aadesh Chaudhary’s new web series, Chitta Ve, discusses drug use in Punjab. He says that getting a chance to discuss this topic and bring about a change motivated him to be part of this show. The series was released on 22nd November on Atrangii.
“Chitta Ve is a compelling series that addresses the serious issue of drug abuse in Punjab. I decided to take up this project because it highlights an important and pressing topic, one that requires urgent attention and resolution,” he says.
He adds, “In the series, which consists of 16 episodes, I portray Sher Singh, a cop. His personality traits closely resemble mine in real life, making the role even more relatable and exciting for me to play. This character is unlike any I have portrayed before, allowing me to explore new dimensions as an actor.”
Talking about the shoot, he says, “We had a wonderful time during the shoot, which took place in Lucknow. The location added a unique charm to the experience, as we got to explore various places in the city when we weren’t filming.”
He adds, “It was a pleasure to work with such an incredible cast and crew, and the collaborative energy on set made the entire process even more enjoyable. I particularly enjoy playing roles like Sher Singh—characters who are straightforward, honest, and action-oriented. Such roles allow me to showcase not only my acting skills but also my passion for portraying strong, impactful personalities on screen. Overall, working on Chitta Ve has been an enriching and memorable journey.”
