With there being a growing trend of eminent TV stars making the jump to the OTT space, ALTBalaji and ZEE5, two of the leading homegrown platforms in the country is all set to see the handsome hunk Akkshay Dogra make his digital debut in the upcoming web series ‘Dr. Donn’. Known for his versatility, viewers are in for a royal treat as Akkshay will be seen playing the lead character of Abhijeet Choubey, an inspector and a private investigator.

Akshay who plays Abhijeet, is a loyal cop from Punjab who diligently and honestly performs his duties. Always ready to fight against anyone who he finds guilty, the sole motto of his life is to see Ranveer (Nakul Roshan Sahdev) proven guilty for all his crimes and put him behind bars.
Speaking about playing the power-packed character of Abhijeet Choubey, an elated Akkshay commented, “This indeed is an exciting part of my journey as an actor as I make my debut for web, and who better to make it with than ALTBalaji and ZEE5 .It’s like coming back home for me as i have earlier worked with Balaji. Every actor wants to play the role of a cop at least once in their career and I’m glad to have got that chance in my very first web series. Having put in my best effort towards playing the role, I hope that my character, as well as the series, is well appreciated by the viewers as always.”
