Being a kid of this generation, I loved living the 90s era: Vishesh Bansal

Young actor Vishesh Bansal, who has been part of popular TV shows like Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?, Suryaputra Karn, Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, has ventured into the digital space.

The child artist will be seen playing the protagonist – 12-year old street-smart Harshu in Mona Singh – Akarsh Khurana starrer ‘Yeh Meri Family’ on TVF.

Talking about the same, he shares, “I have learnt a lot with this web-series. I will give the credit to Sameer Saxena sir. Apart from him, Mona didi and Akarsh bhaiya have helped me a lot. They told us about the 90s era as the show is based on it. 90s kids used to read Nagraj comics, play with WWE cards and had a walkman. I have never seen or experienced them being a kid of this generation. I thoroughly enjoyed it while shooting for the series. Now-a-days kids are only into their phone or watch TV sets. They don’t really enjoy the indoor and outdoor games.”

When asked how has his experience been working with Mona Singh, he says, “I have not seen Mona didi’s shows but I am aware that she is an integral part of this industry. When I got selected, my mom was really excited that I am going to share screen space with Mona Singh as she used to watch her shows. When I met Mona didi for the first time, I thought she must be having attitude like few actress and won’t talk to kids as she is a big star. But she was exactly opposite. She was very friendly with all of us. I was the naughtiest kid on the set of the series ”

On an end note, he avers, “I am the huge fan of Varun Dhawan. I love all his movies. I also keep saying dialogues like him in front of the mirror at home.”

Good luck boy!
