Tell us about your experience shooting for Maja Ma?

A party and learning every day. I have a bag full of things that I learnt on the set. From amazing improvisations of Gujarati to Madhuri Ma’am’s presence and fun and experience. I would observe them all day every day. Also, we were a family. We had so many scenes together, we ended up talking a lot and playing. We would play charades every time when all the actors were on set.

What made you select this movie and character?

I auditioned for the film. But the dynamics of a family, relationships, and reality of the film made me want to do it more.

Were there any similarities between you and your character?

Yes. We both think from the heart and we are beautifully protective of our families.

What has been the most challenging bit about the character you played?

It was challenging to show Tara Patel’s vulnerability. She is a strong girl and fights for her rights, but when she is put in the spot, she does not know what to do. And that makes her human. It was very important to me to understand her thinking and where she is coming from. We tried to make her as real as possible.

What would you like to say about your experience working with Madhuri Dixit?

Magical and surreal. She surprised me with how much fun she could be. She is fun, loving, caring, and a real star. I got to dance with her. I lived my dream. The experience she brings makes us lucky because I was constantly trying to grasp as much as I could see and hear from her.

What is next in the pipeline?

Girls Hostel Season 3 is coming soon so we are gearing up for the same.

Any final message for your fans…

I would like to thank my fans for being there and always supporting me. Be happy and keep smiling!
