Apoorva Arora, who is known for her work in projects like ‘College Romance’, ‘Siddhartha’, ‘Sathiyo Chalyo Khodaldham’, recently entertained fans as Puneet aka Punni in Udan Patolas, an Amazon miniTV series, produced by Applause Entertainment.
The series is about a group of four gorgeous, fun-loving, and free-spirited women who are looking to leave behind their behenji-ness and adopt everything that the ‘City of Dreams’ has to offer. The six episodes revolve around their love-life and work-life situations. These women are not afraid to speak their minds and believe that one should enjoy every moment of life.
Talking about her experience working on Udan Patolas, she said, “I play the role of Puneet in the series. She is a village girl but has come to the city to achieve dreams and become like a city girl. Noor, Lovelle, and Amrit are like sisters to her and she always obeys them. It was great working on the sets with all the girls. I have studied in an all-girls school so it was fun shooting with them. We all bonded like a house on fire.”
When asked how she feels while working on OTT shows, she mentioned, “It feels great. OTT has given opportunities to many artists, writers, directors, and producers. People who had no chance are now proving themselves by working in this particular space. All thanks to OTT. Having said that, I also feel that all three platforms – TV, films, and OTT have their own spaces. One cannot replace the other at all.”
