Actress Tanvi Thakkar regards her recent stint in Vikram Bhatt’s successful web-series Maaya 2 as a great opportunity for her to exhibit her talent.
Says Tanvi, “It was an absolute honour to be associated with Loneranger Productions. They were so professional, but at the same time when I had an urgent family commitment with my father not keeping well, Director Krishna Bhatt went out of her way and made sure to adjust my dates and make me comfortable. Plus I had so much fun playing Shanaya because she is neither black nor white, she is grey-shaded.
For Tanvi the best moment came when Krishna specifically conveyed a message of her dad Vikram Bhatt to Tanvi. “I guess as actors we all love to be appreciated for our work. I was pleasantly surprised and numb when Krishna Bhatt told me that Vikram Sir appreciated my work.”
The character of Shanaya had all the layers, as her motive and her stand will not be known to viewers. “It was fun playing the character, as I had to make sure that the audiences keep guessing whether I am with the girls (Priyal Gor and Leena Jumani) or the boy (Pranav Sachdev). So I kept playing with my expressions and that was fun.”
Well done, Tanvi!!
