I am in the process of building content with my short films under Pin Drop Violence Films – Tanuj Virwani

Actor Tanuj Virwani, son of yesteryear actress Rati Agnihotri, is a busy man!!

While he puts in his creative thoughts together for his series of short films under the banner ‘Pin Drop Violence Films’ regularly, he is for the first time part of MTV Box Cricket League this year. He is captaining the newly formed team, Kota Royals Rajasthan.

Also, Tanuj looks forward for the prep phase of Excel Entertainment’s web-series for Amazon Prime, Inside Edge Season 2.

In an exclusive talk with IndianWikiMedia.com, Tanuj talked about his present ventures and ideas…

“I recently shot for a short film meant for the festivals, with Aahana Kumra which has the tentative title ‘I, Me, Myself, Mine’. Under my banner Pin Drop Violence Films, I have come up with the film with Akshara Hassan titled’ ‘Scent of a Woman’. Earlier, I have put up short films like ‘Jigsaw’ and ‘Rihaah’. I am in the process of building content and a library of films on the digital platform.”

Talking about the idea of coming up with his short films, Tanuj explained, “The whole concept behind the short films is that there is a lot of potential for actors as well as creative people to express ideas and stuff on the web. I enjoy doing it and that’s what brought me into this craft of making short films. It helps you hone your talent and skills better. Also it gives an opportunity for people to work on more creative ideas. I don’t want to be genre-specific in my shorts. As of now, I have done a drama, a thriller and a romantic film. I look forward to putting up more content in the near future.”

Speaking about his first experience being in BCL, Tanuj who is an avid cricket lover stated, “It is real fun to captain a side. Playing cricket is fun. We are a new franchise. Hence the focus this year is about getting a core bunch of boys and girls who in the coming years will make an impact with their play,” he quipped.

Tanuj who was earlier part of Amazon Prime’s successful web-series Inside Edge, is looking forward to its Season 2 which will most probably roll out in mid-April. “Yes, the preparation for the Season 2 will start soon. So I am looking forward to being part of the whole process of making it again.”

Wish you luck and success, Tanuj!!
