If you are a young Indian with an internet connection, it is almost impossible that you haven’t heard of Bhuvan Bam. He is an Indian comedian, singer, songwriter and YouTube personality from Delhi, India. He is known for his YouTube comedy channel BB Ki Vines.

Bhuvan became the first Indian individual YouTube content creator to cross 10 million subscribers in 2018. Bhuvan was born in Gujarat and Later on, his family moved to Delhi. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College. Bhuvan Bam started his career as a musician performing in restaurants and later started composing his own songs.

He started his Internet career with the sarcastic video of a news reporter who asked a woman insensitive questions regarding the death of her son due to the Kashmir floods. His first video went viral in Pakistan, inspiring Bam to create his own YouTube channel.

Bhuvan’s youtube channel BB Ki Vines is a YouTube channel whose 2–8 minutes long videos depict the life of an urban teenager, and his whimsical conversations with his friends and family – all played by Bam himself.

Bhuvan Bam won the award for the Most Popular Channel on YouTube at the WebTVAsia Awards. the film Plus-Minus, which featured Bhuvan, won the People’s Choice Award for Best Short Film at the Filmfare 2019.

The reason behind his massive popularity lies in his unique writing skill and originality. His sketches resemble many people’s personal experience and he weaves stories around day to day familiar consequences.

Bhuvan’s videos are not very family-friendly and most targets the youth. The videos are very funny, amazingly written and also the videos are delivered very nicely which makes it all the more interesting. Some of his videos are not just funny but also convey certain messages for the audience. He is very hardworking and he is an example that shows success doesn’t come easy, and we have to work very hard for it.
