With the rise of OTT platforms, there’s been a great craze for web series as well. One of such is Sacred Games, a thrilling crime-based web series, that has made the viewers go gaga, absolutely. Sacred Games has interested a lot of youngsters and film buffs too. The speciality of the series was its way of storytelling and the way it played with flashbacks throughout the series.
But with the great stories, we also have fallen in love with the intriguing characters that the series have come with, two of them were played by Surveen Chawla and Radhika Apte. Both the executions were superb to talk of.
Surveen played the role of the Jojo, who happens to be one of the most mysterious characters in Sacred Games, her characterisation though a negative one, but happened to portray a strong persona, that of a woman. We loved her every bit in the series. Though she gets killed by Gaitonde after she reveals about the conspiracy to Gaitonde.
Radhika Apte, who played the role of Anjali Mathur, eventually was headshot while solving the case, has been extremely interesting throughout the series. Her strong and bold execution have gotten appreciation from various parts of the country.
