Suyyash Rai hospitalized for shoulder injury post BCL

Box Cricket League is garnering a lot of popularity and craziness in its fourth season. With more than 150 players competing against each other in six different teams the season four has a lot to offer. Popular television actor and singer Suyyash Rai who is a part of Kolkata Baabu Moshayes loves to play cricket and has always given his best in the previous seasons of Box Cricket League. In this season of BCL, which also streams on ALTBalaji, Suyyash has taken things to a whole new level. He has emerged as a real winner and displayed true sportsmanship by performing well on the field in spite of being heavily injured. In the past Suyyash happened to suffer from a shoulder injury which resurfaced on the field and he also experienced back-pain while playing the game. He managed to play a few matches with medication but over the last two matches, his injury got worse, which landed him in the hospital.

Speaking about his injury, Suyyash shares, “The main reason why I left playing cricket was my shoulder injury. I am suffering from this injury over the last 12-13 years. This time around, I didn’t have much time for practice due to which I had put extra effort into playing the matches. This brought the shoulder injury back into my life. Post the shoot of BCL, I got hospitalised for two days and was on bed rest for ten days.”

Suyyash truly performed like a star for his team KOLKATA BAABU MOSHAYES. With his injury, he lost hope but his wife and teammate Kishwer Merchant supported him throughout the game. He added, “Kishwer has always been a great support when it comes to BCL, especially. Being an eleventh player of the team, she doesn’t get much chances to play matches but she definitely plays a crucial role even from the dugout.”

In addition to all the drama and action, BCL streams on ALTBalaji app from Monday- Friday at 8 PM will give you the true feel of sportsmanship and teamwork.
