Thinkistan is the beginning of a different journey for me: Shraddha Musale

Actress Shraddha Musale is presently seen in the MX Player series Thinkistan – Idea Jiska, India Uska produced by Rajnish Lall under the banner Jigsaw Pictures. The series is directed by ad filmmaker N Padmakumar.

The concept of the web-series which revolves around the advertising agency in the era of the 90’s has Shraddha playing the role of Nina, the English copywriter working in the firm.

Says Shraddha, “Thinkistan was a great learning experience for me. If I look at a broader picture, I come from a different schooling. I joined Thinkistan when I was busy doing television. I was into Porus and CID. When I joined this series, I felt the difference. I had to unlearn few things to get into the groove of the new concept. It was really challenging to look my character. I play an English copywriter. But the character had to have the finesse as English had to be her first language. I had my share of challenges here and I learned a lot.”

“I also learned the art of preparing for a character. It was an interesting new journey for me. For me, it was like the beginning of a different journey. I have realized the importance of putting effort into things that fall into highest priority. You need to prepare yourself for a role. It is important to focus on performance. In TV, you put in hard work, but there is an equal priority to look good. However, in web, there is the realistic angle,” she adds.

“Overall I will say that the learning experience is from the performance point of view,” she states.

On the response she has got till now on Thinkistan, Shraddha avers, “My father could relate to what was shown since it involved the 90’s era. The show looks good and I look forward to meeting the team to know more about the response. I personally liked the two lead boys and their performances.”

Way to go, Shraddha!!
