Web gives actors a chance to do roles that are more believable: Purvi Mundada

Purvi Mundada who will be debuting on the digital space with Vikram Bhatt’s series, Faceless talks about the positives about the web space.

Talented actress Purvi Mundada has bagged her first opportunity on the web space with Vikram Bhatt’s upcoming web-series Faceless.

As reported by IWMBuzz.com, Purvi along with Sid Makkar will play the leads in the crime mystery thriller.

Purvi who has earlier enthralled viewers with TV shows Nisha aur Uske Cousins, Dream Girl and Chandrakanta says, “I have been waiting to make my debut on the web in a very good way. After Chandrakanta, there was nothing substantial and exciting on TV that came my way. I declined many offers as they were not challenging enough. So I decided to wait for the right opportunity. I got a lot of web offers, but this was something I could not refuse. This is a Vikram Bhatt and Krishna Bhatt offer. They have a wonderful story and a great team. I play the leading lady in it. Basically the role is also very challenging.”

On the blooming web market, Purvi states, “Web actually gives actors a chance to do roles that are relatable and more believable. It actually offers entertainment and content in a short span of time. Today web has become as big as TV and films. People are keen on watching various big platforms like Netflix, Amazon, VB on the Web etc.”

“The audience today has become very smart. They do not want to invest their time and money on anything that is not real and relatable. So basically web today is giving an actor lot of creative satisfaction. And this is why I have opted to choose work on the web. Definitely, VB on the Web is a very good platform and I look forward for the shoot to start.”

Best of luck, Purvi!!
