Web space gives liberty to experiment: Asha Negi

The lovely actress is all set to make a digital acting splash...

Asha Negi of Pavitra Rishta and Bade Acche Lagte Hain fame,   who is on a break from TV currently, has one regret that she could not be a part of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa when great Remo Dsouza, Karan Johar and Madhuri Dixit were gracing the judge’s panel.

However, she is happy she could shake a leg with soul partner Rithvik Dhanjani on Nach Baliye 6.

For the moment Asha is joining hands with best friends  Kishwer Merchantt  and  Prianca Talukdar, among other gals,  and are heading to Jordan for Extreme Holiday which will combine vacation with fun filled adventurous  fitness  routines .  “We will have a blast,” says Asha flashing her pearlies.

Asha is in no hurry to return to TV till she gets something  really juicy role beyond the regular saas bahu drama. “Unlike others who get afflicted by out of sight, out of mind syndrome. I will not get scared and do anything just to be seen.”  Her last fiction outing was the ill-fated Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan on Star Plus.

Asha is also excited about her debut web series which will soon be uplinked on ARF web, “It is a cute love story shot in  Manali between a typical Haryanvi dude and a sophisticated   Delhi gal.  The format is really good for it gives liberty to us actor/creative to experiment with stuff which is not possible on TV; I am certainly game for more.”

When we ask about bold quotient in web she says, “Not all digital products go down that route, it depends on what kind of stuff you choose.”

In closing, Asha who has also done Khatron Ke Khiladi 6 says, she has not given many tips to Rithvik  who is part of  the ongoing  KKK season ,“I just told him to believe in himself. Honestly I had never thought that an under confident girl like me would be able to do all those dangerous and yucky stunts in face of more powerful men and women in the race. But the fact that I could pull it off made me realize that I was only underestimating myself.”

Way to go, Asha!!!
