Moni Rai the talented actor who is known for his TV show Udaan and films M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, Hate Story 2 etc is presently seen in the Disney+ Hotstar series Escaype Live in the role of a cop. This Siddharth Kumar Tewary produced series shows the audience the real world of social media where individuals of varied thoughts try to make a mark.
Moni Rai plays one of the investigating officers in the series who is out to nab Bablu aka Darkie (Sumedh Mudgalkar). Says Moni, “It was a great experience to be part of Escaype Live. Though I get introduced around the 5th episode, my maximum scenes will be in the Finale Episode which will launch on 27 May. You will get to see a lot of me there. The officers will be on the run to nab Bablu and that will make for an interesting track. It was a learning curve to get associated with a Siddharth Kumar Tewary project.”
Moni has recently joined the cast of Colors’ Sirf Tum. He plays Vivian Dsena’s chacha. “I have come in as a replacement in the show. I play Nimay Bali’s younger brother.”
Moni is looking forward to being part of good challenging work on the web and film front. “I am in talks for a few more projects. I have my fingers crossed.”
