Karan Anshuman who has directed all the three seasons of Amazon’s Inside Edge,a series produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Ridhwani about the politics of cricket, cannot understand where the reports of Season 3 going back to the drawingboard are coming from.
According to the report when the Amazon eggheads collectively saw Season 3 recently they were not happy with the end-product and asked the producers to either re-shoot or scrap the series’ Season 3.
When I asked director Karan Anshuman , his response to the report was: “absolutely untrue …malicious.”
Actor Tanuj Virwani who plays one of the key roles said the report was “absolutely false.”
Another actor from the series who didn’t wish to be named said, “We don’t where this rumour is coming from. I’ve just finished dubbing for the entire series. If there was any truth to it I would have heard about it.”
