Can you tell me about the movie without giving away too much? Here’s a small glimpse into the plot. The story takes place during WWII, and as Britain becomes more desperate, Churchill orders a new spy agency called “SOE” to recruit and train women as spies. These women, known as “Churchill’s wonder women,” have a difficult task ahead: sabotage and resistance. Vera Atkins (Stana Katic), SOE’s “Spymistress,” recruits two unique candidates: Virginia Hall (Thomas), an ambitious American with a wooden leg, and Noor Inayat Khan (played by Radhika Apte), a Muslim pacifist. Together, they work to undermine the Nazi regime in France and leave a lasting legacy. Based on true stories, this original screenplay draws on various “spy files” and interviews with living relatives and friends. It sounds like an exciting film!
