Netflix has recently announced the huge bouquet of programming that is to come this year. There are as many as 41 new titles of India that are in the making. From web-series to films, documentaries, stand-up comedy specials, and reality shows, a lot is on offer this year. One out of the lot is Mai, the Netflix series which is being produced by Anushka Sharma and her brother Karnesh Sharma. The banner making the project is Clean Slate Films.
The series has a stellar cast lead by Sakshi Tanwar. We recently wrote about Sarika Singh being part of the series.
News coming to us is that actor Amit Singh Thakur who is presently seen in TV’s Prem Bandhan plays a part. He has recently been part of the web-series Hello Mini 2, Punchh Beat, and has shot for the film Haseen Dilruba.
As per a reliable source, “He will be playing a good role which will be power-packed.”
We buzzed the actor and the spokesperson at Netflix but did not hear.
