MX Player the OTT service has geared up to provide content in seven Indian languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali, Punjabi and Bhojpuri.
Now, the widely growing OTT platform has started work on a new Marathi concept which is yet untitled.
It will be a female oriented series with a revenge plot.
News coming in is that popular Marathi and Hindi actress Anuja Sathe will play the protagonist in the story.
Anuja is known for her splendid work in Marathi and Hindi cinema. On TV, she has done widely appreciated roles in shows Agnihotra, Mandala Don Ghadicha Dav, Lagori Maitri Returns (Marathi shows) and Tamanna, Peshwa Bajirao and Khoob Ladi Mardaani… Jhansi Ki Rani in Hindi.
Along with Anuja, popular actor of Kumkum Bhagya fame Ankit Mohan is believed to be playing a crucial and powerful role in the series.
The Marathi series will be directed by Bigg Boss fame Director Sachin Darekar. The series is being produced by Times Studio.
We buzzed Anuja and Ankit but could not get through for a response.
We reached out to the spokesperson at MX Player to get a confirmation on the same, but were not successful.
