Three Gujarati actors of three generations have come together to whip up a spooky comedy called Atithi Bhooto Bhava. It is directed by Hardik Gajjar, a VFX supervisor turned director. This is Hardik’s feature film debut and also Scam star Pratik Gandhi’s debut in a Hindi feature film.
Interestingly Pratik’s co-stars in Atithi Bhooto Bhava are also Gujarati. Jackie Shroff’s father was Gujarati while young Sharmin Segal who is the niece of filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is also half-Gujarati. Her mother is Bela Segal who is Bhansali’s sister .
The three are now shooting for the film in Mathura.
Speaking on the project, Pratik tells me, “Atithi Bhooto Bhava is a romantic comedy. This is the only thing I can reveal as of now.”
