Sahdev Dirdo, a 10-year-old boy who shot to fame after a video of him singing ‘Bachpan ka Pyaar’ song went viral on the Internet, became a victim of a road accident on Tuesday evening.
According to ABP and India Today reports, a boy was injured in an accident while riding a pillion on a motorcycle in Sukma district, Chhattisgarh. The accident occurred around 6:30 pm in the Shabri Nagar area. The boy, identified as Dirdo, was not wearing a helmet and suffered a serious head injury when he fell from the motorcycle. The rider sustained minor bruises.
Sukma Superintendent, Sunil Sharma, confirmed the incident. Dirdo was taken to the district hospital for initial treatment and shifted to Jagdalpur Medical College Hospital.
Rapper Badshah also tweeted about the incident. Badshah said in his post after Sahdev Dirdo’s accident, “In touch with Sahdev’s family and friends. He is unconscious, on his way to the hospital. I’m there for him. Need your prayers.”
