Apharan, the platform’s very first suspense thriller has Arunodhay Singh and Nidhi Singh as leads. The series is being produced and directed by Balika Vadhu fame director, Siddharth Sengupta.
IWMBuzz.com reported exclusively about Nidhi (Permanent Roommates) and Varun Badola being on board.
We now hear of ace actor Saanand Verma, popularly known as Saxenaji in &TV’s long-running show Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai is now roped in for the series. Saanand was recently seen in the Ajay Devgn starrer, Raid.
Joining him will be actor Sanjay Batra who is presently seen in Sony TV’s Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai.
As per a credible source, “Saanand’s character will be playing a pivotal role in the female protagonist’s (Nidhi) life. Sanjay Batra will play a politician who will play a pivotal role in the plot. The story will revolve around the kidnap of this politician’s daughter.”
We buzzed the two actors but they remained unavailable for comment.
We hear that the shoot for Apharan will start in Hrishikesh very soon.
