And it is November 19.
Ending 2021 on a high, Netflix announces the thriller drama Dhamaka, scheduled to release on the service on November 19. The film follows the story of an ex-news anchor Arjun Pathak, played by Kartik Aaryan, who is given another chance to go live on prime-time television when a terrorist calls him with a bomb threat. Little does he know that this call will change his life and throw him into a fast-paced game of betrayal.
Speaking on the process of directing Kartik in Dhamaka, director Ram Madhvani said, “Ram is all-praise for Kartik. “He surrendered himself to his part. There is a hunger in him to excel as an actor. That craving worked well for the film. I believe Kartik has given a performance that will be talked about for a long time.”
Madhvani says he was astonished by Kartik’s dedication. “I shoot my films by the 360-degree technique which entails the use of multiple cameras. Kartik had never worked that way.He adapted himself to my way of working. For that matter Sushmita too was new to my technique of direction. I’ve just been so lucky with my actors.”
Dhamaka stars Kartik Aaryan in a never seen before avatar and boasts a talented supporting cast of Amruta Subhash, Vikas Kumar and Vishwajeet Pradhan in pivotal roles, along with a special appearance by Mrunal Thakur.
