Young Deepti Devi, who has been a popular face in the Marathi film industry with films like Conditions Apply-Atti Lagu, Naal and Mantr, is all set to rock on the digital platform. We have exclusively learnt that the actress will be part of Disney+Hotstar’s upcoming web series Red Chalk by Neeljai Films and Kara Studio.
Directed by Deepankar Prakash, the project has an ensemble cast that includes Anupria Goenka, Sahil Vaid, and Mohan Kapur. We at IWMBuzz.com exclusively reported about the actors being on board for the above-mentioned series.
Deepti confirmed the news and said, “This project was named Red Chalk before but finally the title of the series is ‘Crime Next Door’ by Neeljai Films and Kara studios and it’s the first-ever digital project by them. Initially, the idea was to make a short film, however, the overall project is done so very well that Disney Plus Hotstar encouraged them to make more of such stories and it became an anthology. I enjoyed being a part of this project. Our director Deepankar is known for his previous excellent short films. The entire team was amazing.”
