We had reported about WatchO the upcoming platform which is slated to launch closer to the Republic Day on 26th January.
We had mentioned about the series ‘Breaking News’ starring Kiran Srinivas. The story as we had reported, will be a fictional depiction of the journalist who was shot dead in Bangalore recently, Gauri Lankesh.
We now hear of more names in the cast.
Actor Devesh Sharma who was part of Star Bharat’s Saam Daam Dand Bhed will be part of the series.
Joining him will be actor Apoorv Vij of movie I am not Devdas fame.
Suparna Malakar who has featured in movies Ebond Bisarjan and Mismatch will also play a crucial role.
As per a reliable source, “Along with Kiran Srinivas, Apoorv, Devesh and Suparna will play crucial roles in the series.”
We buzzed the actors but could not get through to them.
