Lakshmi R Iyer, the CEO & Founder of Streetsmart Productions, who is known for her short films APPA, Wrong Mistake and Seasoned with Love, is all set to roll out a new short film. As per a credible source, the film will have a stellar cast.
As per sources, the cast includes popular names Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Renuka Shahane and Ananth Mahadevan. Devoleena is known for her role as Gopi Bahu in the TV show Saath Nibhana Saathiya. Renuka is best known for her role in the film Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!. Ananth has entertained fans in movies like Dil Maange More!!!, Red Alert: The War Within, Mee Sindhutai Sapkal, The Xpose.
We buzzed Devoleena, she confirmed the news and said, “I am glad and excited to be a part of the project with a great cast. I am sure fans will surely love it.”
On the other hand, Ananth shared, “Lakshmi’s debut as a director is a heartfelt story of two people who reclaim their past in the evening of their lives. Set in an old people’s home it evokes varying emotions of abandonment, resilience and revival. Lakshmi who has been a resourceful producer so far has a contagious charm that rubs off on actors and her excitement about the film is not unfounded. First Second Chance will tug at the heartstrings of the audience.”
