Web-series on the digital platforms are getting bigger with every passing day!!
Yesterday, IndianWikiMedia.com wrote about ace actor Kulbhushan Kharbanda being part of Zoya Akhtar’s directorial debut, Mirzapur for Amazon Prime. The series will be produced by Farhan Akhtar and Riteish Siddhwani.
Now we hear of the extremely talented Divyendu Sharma joining the cast of the series.
Divyendu as we know, is popularly known for his role in the movie Pyar Ka Punchnama. He has also been part of films Chashme Baddoor, Ekkees Topon Ki Salaami, and the recent Toilet: Ek Prem Katha.
He has also done the web-series Permanent Roommates on TVF.
As per a credible source, “Divyendu will be playing a negative role, a powerful character in the gangster based concept, Mirzapur. He has started shooting for the web-series.”
We buzzed Divyendu but could not reach out to him.
The web-series has a stellar cast that includes Ali Faizal, Vikrant Massey, Shweta Tripathi, Harshita Gaur, Pankaj Tripathi, Sheeba Chaddha.
