IWMBuzz.com exclusively informed readers about Hungama Play’s new web series named Challava produced by Frog Unlimited.
We earlier reported about Kavita Kaushik, Kabir Sadanand, Sandeepa Dhar and Aabhaas Mehta being part of the project.
Now, we hear talented actors Anveshi Jain (Gandii Baat), Samikssha Batnagar (Poster Boys) and Manish Goplani (Thapki Pyaar Ki) will also feature in the web series. As we earlier reported the web series will have short stories. The actors will be part of a few short stories.
Anveshi shared her thoughts, “The role in Chhalava has provided me with much-needed motivation which in turn has demanded a clear understanding of the role. The show has shown me new ways to improve my acting skills and to be a better actor overall. The most important factor of any actor is the way one deals with adversity and my character, Rehana in the show has provided with exactly that”.
Manish confirmed and said, “Emotionally investing in the character development and giving importance to intention and thought is the best thing an actor can do to achieve greatness. I consider this opportunity to be once in a lifetime and as far as my credentials go, this character that I play in Chhalava remains at the top. I am lucky and privileged to be cast in the show Chhalava and give justice to my character Armaan.”
Samiksha added, “I was absolutely thrilled in playing my role as Zeenat in Chhalava as the show given its intensity, demanded a clear understanding of the role. The crucial part of any role is the aspect of storytelling and I believe that I am absolutely ecstatic to be part of this show and massive opportunity to experiment with varied characters. I always strive to find the next best thing and with Chhalava I’m confident that it’s gonna strike a chord with the audience’’.
