IWMBuzz.com has been exclusively reporting about Netflix’s upcoming series Scoop by Hansal Mehta. The project is inspired by the biographical book from journalist Jigna Vora, ‘Behind The Bars In Byculla: My Days in Prison’. As per reports in the media, Scoop on Netflix will see Karishma Tanna in the lead role of a crime journalist Jagruti Pathak.
‘Scoop’ is a character drama that traces the journey of Jagruti Pathak, an ambitious crime journalist. Her world comes crashing down when she is charged for the heinous murder of a fellow journalist, Jaideb Sen and ends up in a prison cell with those she once reported on.
We had earlier exclusively informed fans about Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub, Mehul Kajaria, Pankaj Vishnu, Ninad Kamat, and Ravish Desai being roped in for the project. We now hear that talented thespian Deven Bhojani, who has entertained the masses in numerous projects like Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Khichdi: The Movie, Agneepath, Baa Bahoo Aur Baby, Bhakharwadi and Chala Mussaddi… Office Office, has joined the ensemble cast to play a crucial role in the series.
