Actress Leena Goenka who has featured in TV shows Maddam Sir, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Bindiya Sarkar, Alibaba – Ek Andaaz Andekha etc, has bagged a web series now. She is presently shooting for a web series directed by Ajaz Khan. The series will be a mafia-based gangster series and will be titled Bombay Bonds. The platform that will stream the series is not revealed right now. The makers are in talks with a few noted OTT platforms.
Leena will be seen playing the lead in the series. Her role will be a powerful one, which will be something that she has not attempted so far. The series will be a captivating tussle between the good and the bad. It will be an action-based thriller series, which is what we know now. She was last seen on TV in the &TV show Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain, where she played a close friend of Vibhuti, played by Aasif Sheikh.
As per a reliable source, “The shoot is presently happening. The makers are gungo about the story and plot which is gripping and interesting.”
