Renowned Gujarati theater artist Sanat Vyas, who rose to fame with her performance in Zindagi Abhi Baaki Hai, Aa Te Kevi Dunniya and Polam Pol, has bagged a new web show. As per a reliable source, the talented actor will be seen in Netflix’s upcoming series Scoop by Hansal Mehta.
We had earlier exclusively informed readers about Dhairya Karwa, Deven Bhojani, Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub, Mehul Kajaria, Pankaj Vishnu, Ninad Kamat, Atul Kale, Alekh Sangal, Manasi Rachh and Ravish Desai being part of the series. As per reports in the media, Karishma Tanna will be seen in the lead role of a crime journalist Jagruti Pathak.
‘Scoop’ is a character drama that traces the journey of Jagruti Pathak, an ambitious crime journalist. Her world comes crashing down when she is charged for the heinous murder of a fellow journalist, Jaideb Sen and ends up in a prison cell with those she once reported on. The project is inspired by the biographical book from journalist Jigna Vora, ‘Behind The Bars In Byculla: My Days in Prison’.
