CELINA JAITLY HAAG & LILLETTE DUBEY wins BEST ACTRESS at the prestigious 14th Ayodhya International Film Festival AYOFF for our Hindi language feature film #SeasonsGreetings , a Tribute to Rituparno Ghosh.
This is such a wonderful finale to our special journey that started last year. I thank Festival Director and eminent jury members from India to recognise the effort and dedication of my leading ladies Celina Jaitly and #LilletteDubey in this film. Without them, I wouldn’t have been able to make this film. So happy and proud of you both.
And this also makes for a perfect tribute to Rituparno, as Romita and Suchitra were inspired from his film Dahan. Incidentally 22 years ago, both the leading ladies of that film (Rituparna and Indrani) had also bagged Best Actress at the National award in 1998.
Thank you Almighty and Rituda for blessing the film. I can only thank you all for every bit of love we received for our film. The film is streaming on ZEE5 Premium.
