Star Network’s digital arm Hotstar seems to be getting stuck in Game of Thrones withdrawal symptoms. This very popular HBO show just concluded its season 7 which was first aired in India on the above popular OTT platform.
The ‘GOT’ move opened new ‘audience reach’ corridors for Hotstar, a master stroke to zoom past competition. However, it’s ironical that the very platform which allowed Indian GOT fans to watch the show, now is ‘subscription flirting’ with Hotstar, stating that ‘now that GOT 7 is over, so has their interest in the platform.”
Subscribers took to Twitter to express and Hotstar social media team showed grace, wit and patience to revert to the volley of remarks.
